Story:

Shenkin is the owner and the bartender at the Goat Major Pub, where all of the other pub characters live

The design for Shenkin is inspired by the current mascot of the 3rd Battalion The Royal Welsh, also named Shenkin. Not only is Shenkin a mascot for the Welsh army, but he is also the mascot for the Welsh National Rugby Team.
